Dealer.com Unveils a Company Blog

[www] The View from Inside (Blog)

This morning I discovered an entry on AutoIndustryForum.com that Dealer.com has a company blog. How timely in that jsut last week HomeNet too had unveiled its blogs. As stated earlier, blogs are an excellent way for companies to reach out to the marketplace for customers and partners and I think this will become a common thing throughout the automotive industry in due time.

Dealer.com's blog seems to be geared towards industry news and information whereas HomeNet's concentrate on product and company info. It will be interesting to see where these companies go with their blogs and how quickly other companies in the industry will be with publishing their own.

Yeah, We (HigherTurnover.com) started our blog around April or May 2006. A blog is a very efficient way to communicate with your customers, potential customers and everyone else. I was surprised that more blogs about Autos and the Internet were not created before. The first one I came across was DealerRefresh.com, which Jeff does a great job at keeping up.
